TEAM GMT-YAMAHA-LASER HIT BY BAD LUCK IN LE MANS 24 HOURS

Disappointment for team GMT-Yamaha-Laser at the 24 hours of Le Mans. The top favorite team was leading the race and faced mechanical problems that forced them to stop. After impressive qualifying sessions it was clear that topriders Checa, Gimbert and Plater were in the mood for winning! The GMT riders were far out the fastest team in wet and dry practices. After a difficult start of the main event the GMT team proved their power by coming into the lead from a midfield position. With impressive laptimes they managed to overtake their competitors. But then they were hit by bad luck when clutch problems prevented them from winning another Le Mans 24 hours…
